Your guide to choosing the right makeup brushes to apply powder.
Wondering which makeup brush would be apt for you - The flat round one, or the dome-shaped fluffy one? Choosing makeup brushes can be a tricky deal, especially since they come in so many different shapes and sizes. Here’s what you should know before picking up brushes for your powder.
• Large, flat and fluffy brushes are great to dust on powder over your face. They can enable easy application of products over large surfaces and help to form a uniform layer over your face. Further, they are also great to dust off excessive powder easily.
• Skip using a brush that’s too dense. Powder brushes should form a loose and thin layer of the product on your skin.
• Pointed or tapering brushes are great for contouring. Don’t use them to spread powder since they tend to concentrate the product over certain areas.
• The smaller powder brushes help to apply the product on defined areas, like your T-zone. This is especially great if you do not want a matte effect all over your face.
