Jhelum, a multi-brand designer store that offers luxury, festive and bridal fashion, opened its doors in Mumbai recently among much fanfare. Jhelum is the brainchild of designer Jhelum Gopal Dalve and her mother Aarti Rele. Several Bollywood stars and celebs along with some of India's top fashion designers came out to celebrate the launch of this new store.

Among the guests present at the launch was actress Shriya Saran wearing a midnight blue JJ Valaya lehenga (which looked superb on her) with her hair in a sideswept style and smokey eyes paired with bright pink lips to top off the look.

Isha Koppikar looked beautiful in a Varun Bahl creation with statement pearl earrings and winged eyeliner, which kept her look modern.

Evelyn Sharma looked pretty in a simpler blue lehenga again by JJ Valaya, while Divya Kumar Khosla was wearing a stylish cape and dhoti outfit by designer Anamika Khanna (the outfit would look good on any red carpet and this would be a perfect look for a cocktail event as well). She wore her hair up and finished her look with minimal makeup and small jhumkis. She definitely stole the show that evening!

Rashmi Nigam wore a midriff baring Varun Bahl creation which she carried off well and Prateik Babbar kept it casual in jeans and a simple top.

The store has been built in a Moroccan style with chandeliers and a gold door, among other embellishments. Apart form designers like JJ Valaya, Manav Gangwani, Suneet Verma, Rina Dhaka and Varun Bahl, Madhoo Shah, Bollywood actor Govinda's daughter Tina Ahuja and many others were seen at the opening.

The guests mingled over champagne and hors d'oeuvres, but every so often, the clothes became the center of attention! Looks like this is going to be a popular store for the celebs!
