As the best of Bollywood walked away with the much coveted black lady, we were left wanting more. The 64th Filmfare Awards saw the stars descend on the red carpet in their sartorial best and we were floored! Their beauty looks set the temperatures soaring and we saw some scorching looks that we cannot shake from our memories.
From Chitrangada Singh’s gorgeous glittery red lips to Athiya Shetty’s sweep of light green eyeshadow, here are the best of the best from the evening!

Make things interesting with a sweep of colour on the lower lash line. Use a colour that matches your outfit like Fatima Sana Shaikh has!
Try: Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette in French Rose
Pro tip: If you do not mind experimenting, try lining your lash line with a lip liner pencil, which works just as well!

When you are wearing a statement gown, like Alia Bhatt, keep your makeup understated with a soft grey smoky eye. The genius bit that we loved about the eye makeup is the little dab of highlighter on the inner corner that just opens up the eye.
Try: Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette in Silver and Lakmé Absolute Moon-Lit Highlighter
Pro tip: When you want a soft, diffused eye look, first apply the eyeshadow and then use your fingers to smudge out the edges.

Take a leaf out of Athiya Shetty’s look book and sweep a light green eyeshadow for an instant upgrade to your look.
Pro tip: Learn to highlight your collar bones and shoulders with a body luminiser when you wear strapless gowns or dresses.

For an all-over soft, bronzy glow, apply a brown or coppery eyeshadow along your upper and lower lash line and smudge it. Finish the look with lots of mascara like Janhvi Kapoor.
Try: Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette in French Rose to create a soft ‘halo’ or coppery brown around your eyes.

We cannot stop staring at Rakul Preet Singh’s water colour Gavin Miguel gown and we love how she has paired her makeup with the multi-coloured gown. Simply done dual toned metallic eyes with a nude lip is just perfect with the gorgeous gown.
Try: Lakmé Absolute Moon-Lit Highlighter – use the two shades (the darker one on the outer corner and the lighter one on the inner corner) to get this look.

We love the monochrome makeup that Deepika Padukone has opted for. Everything is kept in the black-brown-taupe shade range and it works very well with her black Alberta Ferretti gown.
Try: Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette in French Rose. Sweep the brown eyeshadow all over your upper eye lid and line a black liner or shadow close to your upper and lower lash line.

Never underestimate the power of long, fluttery lashes! Sonam Kapoor Ahuja wears simple makeup made stunning with a pair of falsies and slicked back hair with her flouncy pink gown.
Pro tip: Use a spoolie to brush out your eyebrows and fill it in with the Lakmé Absolute Precision Eye Artist Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown. Brush the brows out again to evenly distribute the products and give your brows better definition.

We love the simplicity of Chitrangada Singh’s dewy, diamond-like shiny skin. What we love even more is her drop-dead gorgeous glittery red lips. Such a major statement-making look!
Pro tip: Dab loose glitter on top of a liquid lipstick before it dries for a similar look. If you do not have glitter, you can even dab some glittery eyeshadow on your lipstick!
