As soon as Lakme Fashion Week begins, our excitement soars high over all the beauty trends that will rule this season. Well, life is short and we can't wait five days for all the magic to unfold, so we got you the beauty dope early. (Psst... it's straight from the horses mouth.)
We found our way to the backstage area--where all the glamming up was goes on--and stole an exclusive with beauty whizzes Daniel Bauer and Marianna Mukuchyan. Here’s the scoop from them on beauty trends this season, the best and worst part about fashion week and their favourite memory of LFW.

What are some of the biggest beauty trends we are going to see this season?
Daniel: For hair, it's breaking all the rules. And for makeup, it's very dewy, glossy makeup but OTT. So very shiny and healthy-looking skin.
Marianna: This time, it's the classic looks with a graphic element like nude eye makeup with a hint of bright colour in the inner corners or a graphic wing that goes slightly up the crease of your eyes.
What's the best part about fashion week?
Daniel: The best part is when you create an amazing look and you see it on the runway. It gives you great satisfaction.
Marianna: We get to create interesting looks. For example, for the first day, I created a hair look with a silver wire.
What's the worst part about fashion week?
Daniel: The worst part would be fittings. Days before the show, you have to meet the designer and lock down the looks. Sometimes you have four to five designers for one show and it gets really difficult to find a look. There are a lot of people with a lot of opinions and you still have to find something that's interesting for the designer and for yourself.
Marianna: We are working for 20, sometimes 40, models at a time. There's very limited time and it's a task to make it work.
Your favourite LFW memory is...
Marianna: I have a few, TBH. Last year's finale when I created a super cool look including a powdery red elements and Manish Arora's show two years ago, when we created super interesting structured hair looks.
