With the upcoming wedding season, we are sure you’re on the lookout for makeup and hairstyle inspiration to pair with those traditional Indian outfits. Fortunately for us, our Bollywood beauties provide us with more than enough inspiration with all the amazing looks they sport.

If you are the bridesmaid of a Maharashtrian bride, and are planning to dress up in the traditional Maharashtrian attire, then you need to check out this look Shraddha Kapoor recently dropped. Looking resplendent in a nine-yard Paithani saree and heavily smoked out eyes, Shraddha is a sight to behold. If you love the look as much as we did and want to recreate it, then here’s a detailed breakdown to help you do just that.

Face

Step 1: After cleansing and moisturising your face, apply a pea-sized amount of primer all over your face. Use the Lakmé Absolute Blur Perfect Makeup Primer to not just make your makeup last longer, but also make your skin look more even.

Step 2: To give your skin that dewy finish like Shraddha’s, use a hydrating foundation such as the Lakmé Absolute Argan Oil Serum Foundation with SPF 45. Blend it thoroughly into your skin using a brush or a makeup sponge. Enriched with argan oil, this foundation gives your makeup a really fresh and dewy base. Plus, it keeps your skin moisturised and nourished too.

Step 3: Now it’s time for concealer. Even out dark circles, pigmentation, blemishes and other problem areas with the Lakmé Absolute White Intense Liquid Concealer. This will give your face a flawless finish.

Step 4: Highlight the high points of your face Lakmé Absolute Highlighter - Moon-Lit. This step will your give your face the fresh and lit-from-within glow.

Step 1: Always start your eye makeup with your brows. Fill in the sparse areas in between the brows with the Lakmé Absolute Precision Eye Artist Eyebrow Pencil.

Step 2: Take the dark grey eyeshadow from the Lakmé 9 to 5 Quartet Eyeshadow – Smokey Glam and use it all over your lid. Alternatively, for a darker, more intensified look, use a black kohl pencil and smudge it using a smudger. Remember to blend well for that smokey effect.

Step 3: Use the Lakmé Absolute Kohl Ultimate Kajal - Black just below your waterline and smudge it out for a heavy-duty smokey eye.

Step 4: Curl your lashes and finish the eye makeup with two coats of the Lakmé Eyeconic Curling Mascara for fluttery, gravity-defying lashes.

Lips

Lips

Step 1: Before applying lipstick, it is very important to prep your lips using a lip scrub and a generous amount of lip balm. We suggest you use the Vaseline Lip Care – Rosy Lips.

Step 2: To recreate Shraddha’s glossy pink pout, start by lining your lips using the Lakmé Kareena Kapoor Khan Absolute Lip Definer – Salmon.

Step 3: Next, go over with two coats of the Lakmé Absolute Plump And Shine Lip Gloss - Pink Shine.

And there you have it; a stunning bridesmaid look for a Maharashtrian wedding!
