Under-eye dark circles, blemishes, sudden breakout and plenty of other skin woes become a little bearable when you have a trusty concealer by your side. Dabbing a little bit of concealer instantly covers all the problem areas and makes your skin look visibly flawless.
While the main job of a concealer is to camouflage imperfections, there’s a lot more this amazing makeup product can do, if used right. Everyone tells you about the right and wrong way to apply concealer, but we’re going to take it a step further and talk about all the spot you should be applying concealer on to amp up your makeup game.
Note: Use a concealer that is one to two shades lighter than your skin tone for best results.
- Above and below the brow
- Around the nostril
- The inner corner of the eyes
- Corners of the mouth
- Centre of the chin
Above and below the brow
The easiest way to make your brows pop as well as define that arch is by applying a thin line of concealer above and below the brow. If your brows have gone slightly out of shape this trick will help with that too. Make sure you use a liquid concealer such as the Lakme Absolute White Intense Liquid Concealer for precise application and smooth blending.
Around the nostril
Most women ignore the area around the nostril while applying concealer, this makes the skin tone appear uneven. Use a concealer with a doe-foot applicator so that it reaches the corners of the nostrils to hide redness or broken capillaries.
The inner corner of the eyes
When you’re trying to hide those dark circles, you only concentrate on the area below your eyes. But to add brightness to the eye area, dab a little concealer on the inner corners as well. Again, a liquid concealer will make it easy to reach the tiny area. Make sure you use only a little amount of product or it will end up creasing.
Corners of the mouth
The area around the mouth is generally darker than the rest of your skin. Dabbing a little concealer will brighten your lip colour, define your lips as well as add an uplifting effect to downturned lips.
Centre of the chin
The centre of the chin is another magic spot that often gets ignored. Applying a little bit of concealer here will bring more attention to the centre of your face and enhance the colour of your lipstick.
