If you’re reading this, then may your day be as bright as your highlight!
Highlighters are a little slice of heaven that are having a moment in the glamour world. After glass skin became the talk-of-the-town, everyone is high on highlighter. Be it runways or red carpets, highlighter is definitely the highlight of glamorous evenings if you know what we mean. But, we’re not complaining! Because the best part about this diva-esque product is that it can help you fake glowing skin.
Even if you’ve spent the night dancing away, you can look like you’ve completed your beauty sleep just with a little dab of highlighter. And that’s not all! Highlighter is also your answer to dull, lack-lustre skin.
Here are three highlighter hacks that can give you instant glass skin.
- Hack #1: Mix together liquid highlighter and moisturiser
- Hack #2: Combine powder highlighter with face oil
- Hack #3: Bring liquid foundation and liquid highlighter together
Hack #1: Mix together liquid highlighter and moisturiser
Don’t be surprised, but this step comes before your makeup. In fact, it’s best to use it as part of your skincare routine. Mix a few drops of your liquid highlighter into your regular moisturiser and use the warmth of your hands to pat and press the product gently into your skin. This little hack will assure you a radiant base.
Hack #2: Combine powder highlighter with face oil
Powder highlighter all by itself can make you look like a disco ball. This OTT product certainly cannot be as everyday wear. But, if you mix it with face oil or balm, then it is sure to do the trick for you. By mixing powder highlighter and face oil together, you’ll get a glossy, just-like-skin finish.
Hack #3: Bring liquid foundation and liquid highlighter together
Instead of applying highlighter after foundation, elevate your makeup routine by simply mixing the two together. Take a few drops of liquid foundation and mix it with a few drops of liquid highlighter. Apply it with a damp sponge if you want that radiance to look like it came from within.
