Ubtan face wash

An ubtan face wash works like a soap to deep cleanse your skin and help get rid of impurities and dirt and surface cleansers tend to miss. Gram flour and raw milk are both amazing natural skincare ingredients. Raw milk hydrates the skin, offers deep cleansing, controls oil and gently exfoliates. When raw milk is mixed with besan, all your daily skincare needs are taken care of.
You will need:
- 1 tablespoon sandalwood powder
- 2 tablespoons gram flour
- ½ tablespoon turmeric powder
- 2 tablespoons raw milk
How to use: Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and stir until it forms a smooth paste without any lumps. Spread it evenly on your skin and keep it on for 15-20 minutes before you wash it off with water.
Ubtan face mask

Ubtan face packs are super effective when it comes to removing tan and dark spots. Rose water has astringent properties that tighten skin and shrink pores. It also helps sooth and calm the skin, owing to its anti-inflammatory properties. Wheat flour regenerates skin cells and helps lighten the complexion.
You will need:
- 1 tablespoon chickpea flour
- 1 tablespoon milk powder
- 1 tablespoon sandalwood powder
- ½ tablespoon turmeric
- 1 tablespoon rosewater
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
How to use: Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and form a paste. Apply this to your face and leave it on for 15-20 minutes or until dry before washing it with water.
Ubtan moisturiser

Ubtan when mixed with the right ingredients effectively moisturises and nourishes the skin. Almonds are a rich source of vitamin A and are anti-inflammatory. Tulsi works wonders for acne prone skin and is loaded with antioxidants.
You will need:
- 6-7 almonds
- Half cup fresh milk or cream
- 3 tablespoons chickpea flour
- 2 tablespoons sandalwood powder
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon tulsi powder
- ½ tablespoon turmeric
How to use: Overnight, soak the almonds in fresh cream or milk and peel off the skin. To this add the sesame oil and tulsi powder and churn it all in a mixture. Add the chickpea flour, sandalwood powder and turmeric to this mixture to form a thick paste. Apply this to your face and leave it on for 10 minutes and wash off with water.
