I caught up with this young, sassy designer a few hours before her show and even though she was really nervous, she very happily told me so much about her gorgeous new collection! I obviously couldn't miss this opportunity to put her on the spot and answer a few spontaneous questions!

Known for her Indian aesthetics and unique take on fashion, Ridhi Mehra showcased her new collection ‘Mystical Nuit’, which was dominated by shades of beige, blue and black, inspired by the luminescence of the night sky when graced by the stars and the moon.

Fusion wear took centre stage with more focus on westernised styles comprising skirts, blouses, jackets, pants along with Indo-Western dresses and saris, which were crafted in luxurious fabrics like silk, georgette, chiffon, net and raw silk.

Traditional embellishment techniques such as resham, zardozi and beadwork helped balance each piece and added just the right touch of sparkle.
