When a bride goes shopping for her trousseau, one designer she must check out is Vikram Phadnis. Known for his opulence in bridal wear, he recently conducted a fashion show showcasing his bridal wear collection at the Renaissance Hotel in Powai. His designs were complemented by exceptionally beautiful jewellery – diamonds, rubies, emeralds and kundan sparkled and set the tone of absolute luxury.

His collection included some beautiful lehengas, saris, sherwanis, bandhgalas, churidhar-kurtas and more in a rich palette of colours comprising of reds, blues, oranges, gold, pinks and greens.

The outfits had a generous splash of intricate embroidery with brocade work on velvet borders and the attention to detail was worth noticing.

The stage set up was lavish and beautiful models showed off the stunning collection to a spell bound audience. Like we said... definitely a designer and a collection that every to-be bride should consider for her big day.
