Sridevi – the name is enough to evoke emotions of pure love and admiration for the late actress. Sridevi started out as a child artist in 1967 and went on to become one of the most legendary personalities to rule Bollywood and the South Indian film industry with her back-to-back blockbuster movies.

Besides reining the film industry, Sridevi was also the favourite muse of many Indian couturiers too. And, why not? She was a trendsetter. Her beauty and elegance enamored everyone, including us! So, on Sridevi’s birth anniversary today, we take a look at five of her most iconic beauty looks of all time that make us mourn her loss all over again.

1. Traditional never looked so GOOD!

Sridevi looked like a sight to behold in a stunning grey outfit and a bejewelled necklace that matched perfectly with beauty look. Front-twisted hair bun, defined brows, matte eyeshadow and glossy red lips complete her ethereal look.

2. Glamour personified

Royal and glamorous are the only words we can think of after looking at this picture of Sridevi. Looking absolutely resplendent in kohl-rimmed eyes, voluminous lashes and a deep red pout, the late actress looked every bit regal in this look.

Oh, how poised does Sridevi look here! A high ponytail, a stroke of kajal on the eyes, neatly done brows, slightly blushed cheeks, and soft pink lipstick–she looked absolutely stunning.

4. Dreamgirl, forever!

4. Dreamgirl, forever!

With her big, dreamy eyes, larger-than-life smile and lovely face, Sridevi carried her traditional Indian sari as fluently as her modern ensembles. Her beauty makeover? She aced it even better! We're big fans of her kohled eyes, nude glossy lips and that tiny bindi.

5. Simply stunning

Sridevi could make even a humble sari look like a million bucks, and this picture is proof! We treasure this photograph because of Sridevi’s simplistic yet charismatic avatar in a striped six-yard drape, side-parted straight hair and muted makeup that she defined with a hot pink lipstick.

One thing is for sure; for countless years to come, we’ll always be inspired by how easy and effortless the diva made acting seem, as well as her take on beauty looks! We miss you, queen!
