There is no dearth of hairstyle inspirations out there and yet when you have a special occasion to attend, you usually end up tying our hair up in a bun or leaving it open. Wondering why? Well, because most of the hairstyles you have bookmarked are either too complicated or take too long to create.

Thus, if you really want to break out of your hairstyle rut, you need to start with the simpler hairstyles and then move onto the intricate ones. Lucky for you, we have just the right hairstyle that doesn’t require too much efforts (or time) and looks super pretty — the side wrap braid.

Step 01: Using a curling iron ( 1-inch barrel), style your hair in loose curl. PS Works best on second-day hair.

Step 02: Tease hair at the roots to add volume and make your hair look fuller.

Step 03: Lightly run your fingers through the curls to open them up.

Step 04: Part your hair on the preferred side and make a Dutch braid that moves downwards. Once you reach the nape of your neck, secure with a hair tie and tuck with a bobby pin.

Step 05: Cover the hair tie with a few hair strands to make it look perfect.

Step 06: Gently tug on the strands of the braid to make it appear thicker and fuller.

Step 07: Spritz some of the Toni&Guy Finishing Shine Spray, to add shine to your hairdo.
