Headbands are having a huge moment right now, women of all ages are sporting different types and colours of headbands. Use this to your advantage and invest in some pretty headbands that also complement your outfit. This will not only hide those roots but will also keep those annoying flyaways in check.

Change your part

Another quick and easy way to hide those roots is by changing your part. A deep side part would be perfect as it will offer maximum root coverage and add major volume and texture to thin or fine hair. Your hair will tend to go back to its usual parting if you let it loose, so tie a low ponytail or braid to keep it in place.

Use a scarf

If you don’t have headbands, use a scarf. There are so many different ways to wear a scarf and it’s super trendy. Tie colourful scarves and wraps around your head and disguise those roots. No one would know your roots are all grown out!

Try slicked-back hairstyle

Slicked-back hairstyles look glamorous and ultra-polished. But that’s not why we are asking you to try this hairstyle. It gives the illusion of darker hair and makes your roots appear less obvious. Apply lots of styling gel and brush your hair back. Then tie it into a bun or ponytail.

Add volume

Add volume

Use a round brush and blow dryer to add volume to your hair. Sporting a voluminous hairstyle is one of the best ways to distract from grown-out roots. Alternatively, you can also spray a dry shampoo like the TIGI Bed Head Oh Bee Hive Matte Dry Shampoo to get the same effect and add volume to your roots.
