Pigtails

Pigtails

This is one of the most common hairstyles that women wear at the Oktoberfest. Centre part your hair and make two pigtails, complete it by tying a ribbon at the end. Use hairspray to keep the hairstyle intact. This will look stunning with your dirndl and minimal make-up.

Crown braids

Crown braids

The crown braid looks as though you have a braided tiara around the crown of your head, hence the name. This is best suited for hair with medium to long length. Separate your hair in two pigtails at the nape of your neck. Pull one braid over your head and pin it one inch behind your hairline. Do the same with the other braid and make sure that it is pinned behind the first braid.

Braided Halo

Braided Halo

The braided halo is much like the braided crown, but in a more Game of Thrones kinda way. Separate the upper portion of your hair and clip it on top of your head. Take a thin strand of hair from each temple and French-braid it. Secure both the braids with a clear elastic band. Remove the clip that was holding your upper portion of hair and lastly, pin the braids at the base of your head.

Fishtail Braid

Fishtail Braid

Fishtail braid is a textured style with emphasis on just one braid. Create a low ponytail on one side and secure it with a clear elastic band. Now separate the ponytail into two sections. Hold one section in place while you take a small part of the other section. Weave this strand around the first section of hair. Continue this until all the sections are done. Secure the end with an elastic band and cut off the original band.
