There was more to London Fashion Week than all those big bows, florals, denim and geometry you saw on the ramp. What specifically caught our attention at Mathew Williamson’s show was the uber glam, retro hair done by one of our absolute favourites – Mark Hampton – the Global Ambassador for Toni&Guy Hair Meet Wardrobe. Speaking about the look, designer Mathew Williamson said, “My inspiration was looking at a book by David Bailey and some images he took of Marie Helvin. We wanted to do a really glamorous, polished, shiny, rich, bouncy, full of lustre look that was still slightly undone at the same time.” Here’s a quick guide to getting this look…

Step 1:
Applying the Heat Protection Mist at the roots and blow drying it through and through.

Step 2:
We’re going to be using a 3D Volumilizer at the roots and the mid-length to create volume and shine and beauty that’s very characteristic of the Glamour range.

Step 3:
Using a set of tongs to curl in everything into 1-inch sections and let that set as you go alone. You can even use with the Glamour Firm Hold Hairspray and then take off all the clips.
