Minimal makeup looks classy, no doubt. But, do you know what works better? Adding a dash of colour to amp up your makeup game. And, Janhvi Kapoor’s fresh makeup look with a hint of classic blue on her waterline is everything makeup minimalists would vouch for!

If you’re looking to upgrade your no-makeup makeup look with a dash of colour, then here’s a look you’d love to recreate. Here’s a step-by-step guide to get started.

Face

Step 01: Moisturise your face with the Lakmé Absolute Argan Oil Radiance Oil-in-Creme SPF 30 PA ++ before going in with your makeup. Infused with the goodness of Moroccan argan oil, this face cream will nourish your skin and leave you with a radiant glow.

Step 02: Prep your skin with the Lakmé Absolute Blur Perfect Makeup Primer to create a perfect canvas for your base makeup.

Step 03: Reach for a luminous foundation to achieve a dewy finish, just like Jahnvi’s. We suggest you get your hands on the Lakmé Absolute Argan Oil Serum Foundation With SPF 45; it has a silky texture and easily-blendable formula.

Step 04: Conceal the problem areas such as blemishes, uneven tone and acne scars with the help of the Lakmé Absolute White Intense Liquid Concealer.

Step 05: Either reach for a loose setting powder or a compact foundation to lock your base makeup. Apply it on areas that tend to crease such as under the eyes, around the mouth and on the forehead. You can use the Lakmé Radiance Complexion Compact to keep your base makeup from moving.

Step 06: Add a rosy glow to your cheeks with the Lakmé 9 To 5 Pure Rouge Blusher - Pretty Pink. The sheer formula will further enhance your cheekbones.

Step 01: We suggest that while you allow your base makeup to set (see step 05 above), you work on your brows in the meantime.

First, comb your brows with a spoolie. Then, reach for the Lakmé Absolute Precision Eye Artist Eyebrow Pencil to fill in your brows. Set them in with an eyebrow gel. Alternatively, you can use your primer too.

Step 02: Cover your lids with a brownish hue for your base. You can use a brown eyeshadow from the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette - French Rose.

Step 03: Next, reach for a blue eye pencil like the Lakme Eyeconic Kajal – Turquoise and go over with it on your waterline. Using the same pencil, tightline your eyes.

Step 04: With the Lakmé Eyeconic Liner Pen Fine Tip - Deep Black, create a thin stroke on your upper lids close to your lash line. Use a thin brush and smudge the liner for a soft smokey effect.

Step 05: Lastly, define your eyes with generous coats of mascara. You can use the Lakmé Eyeconic Curling Mascara - Black for thicker, voluminous lashes.

Step 06: Use a lip tint or crayon to add just a dash of colour to your lips. We suggest you use the Elle 18 Go Matte Lip Crayons - 08 Hyper Brown.
