Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s wedding saw the who’s who of India turn up in their sartorial best and turn the heat up, they did! We saw one breath-taking look after another and we can’t wait to bring you the best looks we spotted at the event.
So here they are, serving major makeup goals, the Bollywood brides that knocked it out of the park...
The bride-of-the-moment, Isha Ambani stunned in an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga, but it had one heart-touching detail. The saree her mother, Nita Ambani wore at her own wedding 35 years ago was also part of Isha’s ensemble. Draped around her shoulders, it added a striking colour contrast to her otherwise golden outfit.
Her makeup: Her makeup was kept traditional with the red and white dots adorning her forehead. Dark lips, accented eyes and contoured cheeks made for a very refined look for the bride.

Janhvi Kapoor looked stunning in a very elaborate Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla outfit. Her makeup was kept in the same colour territories as her beautiful lehenga. Gold eyes and red lips complimented her red-and-gold lehenga.
Khushi Kapoor has been on top of her style game and this is proof. Her gorgeous Manish Malhotra outfit was entirely golden and her makeup was clean, fresh and young. She stayed away from bold colours and stuck to golden highlights and slightly accented eyes. Her brows are beautifully constructed and filled in for a strong look.

Deepika Padukone looks resplendent in an ivory Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla saree and she chose a very interesting blouse to go with it. A bright red, full arm, high neck, heavily embroidered blouse. And she pairs it with a bold red lip that perfectly matches the red in the blouse. Coincidence? We think not!
Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is the undisputed queen of mixing it up. She wore a bright, fuchsia pink Anamika Khanna lehenga with her name boldly printed on it. It had a ruffled, full-arm sleeve and was kept plain, other than the wordings ‘everything is AK-Ok’ along the border of the dupatta. She kept her makeup very neutral and let the bold design and colour of the outfit take centre stage.
