Bridesmaids and brides-to-be, you’re in for a treat! Nargis Fakhri recently dropped a pink monochrome makeup look, just in time for the wedding season.
If you’re going to be attending your bestie’s wedding or are prepping for your own D-day, then here’s a look you can play copycat to for one of the functions leading up to the wedding.
Apt for a cocktail evening or a mehndi ceremony, you can team your understated lehenga with vibrant pink makeup.
Here’s a step-by-step tutorial to help you recreate actress Nargis Fakhri’s monochrome makeup look.
Step 01: First things first—moisturise. We suggest you use the Lakmé Peach Milk Soft Creme Moisturizer for nourished and glowing skin.
Step 02: Take note—primer is the most important step of your makeup routine. It helps your makeup glide on smoothly and makes it last longer. Use the Lakmé Absolute Blur Perfect Makeup Primer to create a perfect base.
Step 03: To achieve a dewy finish like Nargis, reach for a foundation that’ll give you luminous skin. The Lakmé Absolute White Intense Skin Cover Foundation can be your best bet.
Step 04: Next up, concealer. Conceal all your skin imperfections such as dark circles, pigmentation and acne scars with the help of the Lakmé Absolute White Intense Concealer Stick SPF 20.
Step 05: Lock your base makeup by dabbing on the Lakmé Radiance Complexion Compact gently, focusing on your t-zone, bridge of the nose and across the lower part of your forehead. Doing so will form a protective layer and prevent your makeup from moving.
Step 06: For a sheer glow, dust some Lakmé Face Sheer - Desert Rose on your cheekbones.
Step 07: Finish your face makeup by highlighting the high points of your face such as the top of your cheeks, bridge of the nose, above the cupid’s bow, brow bone, chin and forehead. The Lakmé Absolute Highlighter - Moon-Lit will help you achieve a natural glow.
Eyes & Lips
Step 01: First, pack on the dark brown shade from the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette – French Rose. Cover your lids entirely with this hue.
Step 02: Now, use the pink shade from the same eyeshadow palette and layer it over the brown eyeshadow. Blend it properly in order to avoid any harsh edges.
Step 03: Get your hands on a creamy kajal. You can use the Lakmé 9 to 5 Naturale Gel Kajal - Black and swipe it close to your upper lash line. With the help of an eyeshadow brush, smudge the liner towards the outer corner for an oomphy look. Apply some kajal onto your lower lids to add more definition to your eyes.
Step 04: Add more volume to your lashes by applying generous coats of the Lakmé Absolute Flutter Secrets Dramatic Eyes Mascara-Black.
Step 05: Lastly, to tie your monochrome makeup look together, go in with a deep berry lip colour. You can use the Lakmé Absolute Matte Melt Liquid Lip Color - Mulberry Feast to complete your look.
