Every little girl has a dream wedding all planned out for herself. And those hundreds of screenshots of outfit and makeup ideas you have on your phone will all become useful as you approach your D-day. Here is one more wedding look that definitely deserves a like and a save on Instagram.
We spotted Sanya Malhotra on the cover of Femina Wedding Times and loved the contemporary bridal look she is seen in. Makeup artists Natasha Mathias and Sunayana Subramaniam have pulled off an ultra-chic and minimalist, yet also somehow grandiose bridal look which is pure goals. Wanna know the little makeup details that have gone into her look? Here they are...
Add a few drops of facial oil to your foundation or you could even add a few drops of a liquid highlighter to your foundation to make it extra glow-y. This is especially good for a bridal look, as the glow on the skin will balance the golden tones in the outfit.
A lot of focus is on the bride’s forehead. She will be wearing the ‘matha patti’ and bindi. So keep your eyebrows well-groomed and filled in with a water-proof brow pencil or gel.
Apply a shimmery eyeshadow all over the upper eye lid and use a darker shade to define the crease and the outer ‘V’ of the eye socket. Line your eyes with black liner and finish with mascara.
On your wedding day, you want your lipstick to stay through all the festivities and the feasts. So make sure you keep your lips exfoliated and moisturised in the lead up the wedding day. Apply a lip primer and use a lip liner (which matches the lipstick) to fill in the lips entirely, and not just the outlines. By doing this, the colour looks deeper and brighter. As the last step, fill your lips with a matte lipstick of your choice, as they longer lasting power.
Perpetually has OCD. Obsessive contouring disorder. Her idea of dressing to walk the dog includes cleanse-tone-moisturise-serum-primer-sunscreen-concealer-foundation-contour-powder-highlighter-bronzer-eyebrows-eyes. (Catches breath) She loves perfectly constructed sentences as much as she loves perfectly blended contours. Enough said.
