We love how millennials like Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor and Ananya Panday are constantly giving us major makeup goals. While they all started out playing it safe, we are seeing them experiment a lot of late especially in the beauty department. And no, we are not complaining!
In the midst of her movie promotion spree, Sara Ali Khan has been dropping bomb makeup looks one after another. The actress, who is gearing up for her Valentine’s Day release titled Love Aaj Kal, has been sporting bold, edgy and absolutely breathtaking looks. One such look that made us drool was Sara’s bright red eye makeup created by ace makeup artist Adrian Jacobs.
Here’s a step-by-step look decode to get you started.
Step 01: Start by moisturising your skin with the Lakmé Peach Milk Soft Creme Moisturizer. Infused with the natural goodness of peaches and milk, this moisturiser is good news for dry winter skin.
Step 02: Prep your skin well with the Lakmé Absolute Under Cover Gel Face Primer. Packed with Vitamin E, this primer will help even out your skin and lock in makeup for a longer period of time.
Step 03: With the Lakmé Absolute Mattreal
Step 04: Cancel out skin imperfections such as pigmentation, blemishes and dark spots with the help of Lakmé Absolute White Intense Concealer Stick SPF 20. The hydrating formula of this concealer stick will help you achieve a crease-less finish.
Eyes & Lips
Step 01: First, brush your brows using a spoolie and follow it up with an eyebrow pencil to shape and fill in your brows. We suggest you get your hands on the Lakmé Absolute Precision Eye Artist Eyebrow Pencil for fuller, defined eyebrows.
Step 02: There are two ways in which you can make your bright red eyeshadow pop. You can either fill in your lids with a white eye pencil or you can go over with a nude eyeshadow from the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette - French Rose for a perfect base.
Step 03: Follow it up with a red eyeshadow. Alternatively, you can also use the Lakmé Absolute Kohl Ultimate The Gelato Collection - 04 Candy Floss to create this look.
Step 04: Simply swipe the eye pencil across your upper lid close to your lash line and go over with the same pencil onto your lower lids.
Step 05: With the help of a flat, eyeshadow brush, smudge the colour gently for a soft, smokey effect. Extend the colour on the outer corners for a winged effect.
Step 06: Go over with the Lakmé Absolute Kohl Ultimate Kajal - Black on your waterline for a more defined look.
Step 07: Apply generous coats of mascara using the Lakmé Eyeconic Curling Mascara - Black for fuller, voluminous lashes.
