She’s only two films old but is already emerging as the gen-next star of the industry. From being in the news for carrying her own luggage at the airport to proudly flaunting her weight-loss journey with jaw-dropping before-after pictures on her Instagram account, she’s a power-house from the word go. If you haven’t guessed it yet, we’re talking about Sara Ali Khan.

The actress, who has a couple of films lined up, recently graced the cover of Hello! India along with her sibling Ibrahim Ali Khan. From her hair colour to her OTT eye makeup, Sara’s look was all things glitzy and glamorous. And, of course, her heavy-duty smokey look was unmissable. So, if you’re looking to recreate a similar eye makeup look, then you’re in for a treat!

Here’s a step-by-step look decode of Sara Ali Khan’s makeup on the cover of Hello! India magazine:

Step 1: Once you’ve cleansed and moisturised your face thoroughly, start with a primer. You can use the Lakmé Absolute Blur Perfect Makeup Primer that’ll make your skin more even and lock in your makeup for a long period of time.

Step 2: Next up, use a hydrating foundation such as the Lakmé Absolute Argan Oil Serum Foundation with SPF 45 and blend it onto your face and neck. Its silky fluid texture blends easily into the skin and keeps skin moisturised and supple.

Step 3: Conceal problem areas such as dark spots, blemishes and other skin imperfections flawlessly with the help of the Lakmé Absolute White Intense Concealer Stick SPF 20.

Step 4: Highlight the high points of your face such as cheekbones, brow bones, cupid’s bow and bridge of the nose with the Lakmé Absolute Highlighter - Moon-Lit.

Step 1: Brush your brows with a spoolie and then use the Lakmé Absolute Precision Eye Artist Eyebrow Pencil to fill the gaps in between your brow hairs.

Step 2: Before you go in with the eyeshadow, apply primer on your lids to hold the pigment in place. Next, take a dark brown eyeshadow from the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette - Nude Beach and use it in the crease of your lids and blend.

Step 3: Now, use a black eyeshadow pigment and apply it all over your lids, making sure you don’t extend it outside of your lids.

Step 4: Use the Lakmé Absolute Kohl Ultimate Kajal - Ash Brown to rim your waterline and extend a small wing on the outer corners.

Step 5: Use a black kajal pencil such as the Lakmé Eyeconic Kajal - Deep Black and go over with it on your lower lids. Take a brush to smudge the kajal for a heavy-duty smokey effect.

Step 6: Finish off with generous coats of mascara. We suggest you try the Lakmé Eyeconic Curling Mascara to achieve luscious lashes.
