While we were casually Insta-stalking the stunning social media sensation, Kusha Kapila (you know, a regular thing to do at the BeBe office); we realised that we love a lot more about Kusha than just her anecdotes and catchphrases. Kusha’s beauty game is just as brilliant as her comic timing and here is proof!

It is an opportune time to be creating comic content in a country like India, if not across the world. For some, it’s almost like a childhood dream come true, being able to tickle the funny bone of millions of people over cyberspace while for some, it was only a quirk of fate that led them on this incredible journey. Kusha Kapila is the latter, a social media celebrity, actress, influencer and a woman of many other talents.

Wait, you don’t know who she is? Are you sure you haven’t been living under a rock all this while Well, maybe the name ‘Billi Maasi’ will ring a bell, or maybe ‘Gurri di Mummy’, there’s really quite a list of interesting, cheeky characters that Kusha Kapila has breathed life into.

Anyway, back to stalking Kusha’s beauty looks, here is all the dope we gathered and all the lessons we learnt from our stalk session...

Lesson #1

Lesson #1

If you’ve been wondering how to wear your bushy brows, maybe you could try wearing them like she does, with confidence and pride. And that soft sunset makeup only works to bring out the colour in those beautiful hazel eyes.

Lesson #2

Lesson #2

Monday blues? Perhaps, wearing a deep crimson lipstick to work like her, along with the conventional highlighter, concealer and bronzer combo, could help you deal with the start of your office week much better. Also, don’t miss that face!

Lesson #3

Lesson #3

Who knew that soft, minimal makeup (and a peach coloured lipstick or lip balm) could make you look breathtakingly winsome like this? That bindi on her forehead is quite literally a cherry on the top too.

Lesson #4

Lesson #4

Speaking of unconventionally large (and gorgeous) foreheads, Kusha Kapila seems to think that she has one and she’s perfectly cool with it. Pull your back into a pony or just let your hair down (here’s another metaphor!), and pair it with some brilliantly blended eye shadow. Be your own beauty critic and trend setter.

Lesson #5

Lesson #5

If you were wondering how in the world one could pull off being both soft and sultry at the same time, take a look at this picture of her. Hair on her face, slightly parted dark red lips and smokey eyes; do I hear ‘Take my breath away’ playing in the background?
