Bollywood actress’ from yesteryears have given us some iconic makeup looks. So iconic were their makeup staples that we see their looks being copied and replicated even today! Rekha—is one such beauty icon! She has always been and still continues to be a beauty inspiration, be it with her lovely Kanjeevaram sarees, her traditional buns or her on point makeup.

Well-crafted, sharp eyebrows tend to change the entire look, and Rekha taught us this beauty lesson years ago. We love her thick, filled in brows; they add so much character to her traditional look.
Fully rimmed eyes
Most of us find ourselves struggling with our eyeliners and kajals. Rekha aced the two, back in her day and took this nude, chiselled look several notches higher with some thick eyeliner and kajal.
Fanned out lashes
All of us love us some lash drama, but remember, Rekha showed us how first. Her thick, fanned out lashes make her eyes look big and add a lot of drama. We love!
Metallic lips
We know that metallic lips are a hand-me-down from the yesteryears. Rekha totally rocked this lip trend, back in her day with a lot of panache. Her well-lined lips and the red colour have us all drooling.
