Mascara on double duty
Mascara is the perfect product to lift your party look from 1 to100. Just add some volume to your lashes and you’re good to go but what most girls don’t know is that you can always double up your mascara as an eyebrow gel! Use minimal amount of the product and gently swipe it over your brows.
Smokey eye in 2 easy steps
When in doubt smoke it out! Yes, we know it sounds super clichéd but trust us, this actually works. Grab the Lakmé Absolute Moonlit Highlighter and use the dark brown shade all over your lid and deepen the crease. Then take some of the lighter highlight colour and use a finger to evenly pack it on the center of the lid. Take a small eye shadow brush and pop some of the same lighter shade in the inner corner. If you want to take the look a notch higher just add some eyeliner or kajal on the lid and in the waterline.
You can then use the same product to bronze and highlight!
Contour with your blush
You have a party to go to and you’re still stuck at work? With just 5 minutes to spare how on earth are you going to get to contouring? We’ll tell you how! Just use a damn beauty blender or a blush brush (Psst : You can use your fingers too) and apply some blush on the temple, brow bone and cheek bones. You can also apply some just under your jaw for a more defined and chiseled look.
Stains are totally in this season and why carry 2 products when you can just use one? The Lakmé 9 to 5 Weightless Mousse Lip and Cheek Color is the best solution. Use it on the lips as a creamy lip stain and then put some on your fingers or a brush to gently make dots in a straight line and blend!
Brighten your under eyes
With all the late nights and tiring days at work, your under eyes are in need for some serious love! To get an instant glow just dunk two green tea bags (even your coffee machine at work will have these) in some hot water and let it soak for a couple of minutes, then pop them in the fridge or a glass of ice cold water. After 5 minutes squeeze out the excess water and apply on closed eyes for 10-15 minutes. If you don’t have so much time to spare, conceal you’re under eyes with a shade 1-2 times lighter than your actual skin tone. This will immediately brighten those tired eyes and make it look like you packed an easy 8 hours of sleep. Image Courtesy: Pinterest
