Fendi—Thirties’ slick waves and red lips
The MFW started off on a heavy note with the death of iconic designer and creative director of Fendi, Karl Lagerfeld. The show honoured the legendary fashion leader with slick waves from the 30’s and red lips—a look ‘Karl would have loved’.
Remember last year when everyone was posting frozen lashes they were getting from the heavy snow. Seems like the designers and makeup experts saw an opportunity there and hit the fall/winter runway with gorgeous crystallised lashes and hair.
Pale skin, baby bangs, yellow eye makeup and dark lips! This other-worldly look at Marni’s sort of gave us chills and transported us back to 90’s grunge era. The show represented ‘pleasure without guilt’ and ‘neurotic exploration’ with a look that spoke for itself.
Take notes! Liners are not meant for the rims of the eyes anymore. Playful liners on the crease of the eyelid, and neon BTW, with eyeshadow spattered here and there marked the main beauty look of the Iceberg runway.
Moschino—Larger than life hair
Voluminous would be an understatement for the hair look we sported at the Moschino show that themed around TV show The Price Is Right. The glitzy collection was teamed with fuller lashes, coloured lids and hair that said ‘go big or go home’.
