  • 1 tablespoon beetroot powder
  • ½ cup distilled water

Step 1: In a pot, add half a cup of distilled or filtered water and keep on low heat.

Step 2: Add the beetroot powder and whisk it well.

Step 3: Keep stirring on low heat and bring the mixture to a boil.

Step 4: Stir for another two minutes or until it thickens and becomes dark in colour.

Step 5: Transfer the mixture into a small jar, close the lid and store in the fridge.

How to apply

  • Dip a clean makeup brush and dot a tiny amount on the apples of your cheeks and blend quickly so it doesn’t stain your skin.
  • It should feel soft and dewy, if it looks too light add a little more.
