You will need:
- 1 tablespoon beetroot powder
- ½ cup distilled water
Step 1: In a pot, add half a cup of distilled or filtered water and keep on low heat.
Step 2: Add the beetroot powder and whisk it well.
Step 3: Keep stirring on low heat and bring the mixture to a boil.
Step 4: Stir for another two minutes or until it thickens and becomes dark in colour.
Step 5: Transfer the mixture into a small jar, close the lid and store in the fridge.
How to apply
- Dip a clean makeup brush and dot a tiny amount on the apples of your cheeks and blend quickly so it doesn’t stain your skin.
- It should feel soft and dewy, if it looks too light add a little more.
- This DIY lip and cheek tint will last around two to three weeks in the fridge.
