Over the past one week the internet has been going bananas over #RahulBoseMoment. While we were not charged 442 bucks for two bananas (thank God!) this incident got all of us at team BeBe thinking about the times we have gone absolutely bananas over beauty and made bloopers, I mean come on, we were not beauty experts from day one!

Here are some of our trial and major error beauty moments...

“A friend got me the blue hard wax from one of her travels, it was all the rage in 2014 right after I had graduated from college. The packaging said ‘super easy to work with’ I believed it and used the wax to remove my overgrown brow hair (without any help)! No prizes for guessing I ended up with half brows and embarrassment for months to follow.”

“My mom was all about DIY treatments and home remedies, so it came to me naturally. Before I moved on to acing my makeup skills I would read/watch DIY skincare treatments on the internet. This one time I saw someone use lemon for glowing skin so I went ahead and used lemon and honey on my face. Next I went out in the sun and ended up with skin burns that took weeks to heal!”

“I have always had shiny, long and healthy hair so my mom would hardly ever let me experiment with haircuts, styles and colours. This one time in junior college I got so fed up that I decided to get bangs, using my own skills (P.S I had none). I only remember grabbing a chunk of hair from the crown area and chopping it off. I spent the next few days crying and regretting my decision.

“Few years ago I was getting ready for an important interview. I applied a few strokes of ‘waterproof’ mascara or what I thought was waterproof. As soon as I stepped out it started raining but my cab was only two minutes away and I was wearing waterproof mascara duh, so I marched ahead! After the interview I rushed to the washroom to see what those weird glances were all about. Needless to say, I never took up that job.”
