Invest in a padded makeup bag
One of the first things you need to do to ensure added safety for your makeup products is to invest in a padded makeup bag. Look for something with different organising pockets instead of throwing everything in together haphazardly. This will ensure that each of your makeup items has a designated place and won’t crack because of banging with other products.
Travel with multitasking products as far as possible
One of the best ways to ensure that you travel light, as well as, eliminate the risk of too many broken products is to carry multitasking makeup products. For example, cream blush can easily be double as an eyeshadow or a lip tint, a shimmery eyeshadow works really well as a highlighter, etc. Also, you could carry a few extra lipsticks with you as they’re extremely easy to travel with and can double up as a blush and eyeshadow.
Wrap them carefully
Another great way to ensure that your makeup products survive your travels unscathed is by wrapping them tightly in cloth napkins. This will make your products stay firmly in place, thereby reducing the chances of breakage.
Keep some products in your carry-on luggage
Carry as much as makeup as you possibly can with you in your carry-on luggage, especially powder makeup products such as eyeshadows, blushes and compacts that are more prone to breakage. This will ensure that the products are handled with much more care.
