Orange is the new red and here's how you can rock it on your cheeks, lips and lids

After successfully ruling the 80s, the stunning orange colour has finally made a comeback as the hottest makeup trend this season. We can’t help but wonder what took so long for trendsetters to bring this colour back in vogue. Um, is it because it is somewhat risqué to pull off? Maybe!

Well, it is back in trend and we can’t wait to rock it. You too? Great! We went ahead and pulled some beauty-spirations on how to rock orange on your lips, lids and cheeks like a pro. Check it out…

For a gorgeous, warm flush on your cheeks, get a peachy orange or burnt orange blush and buff it on your cheeks. You could also go for an orange monochrome look by sporting orange on your lips and lids as well. Not a fan of monochrome? No worries. An orange blush will pair well a black eyeliner and a berry pout too. This colour looks fab on most Indian skin tones and is totally worth trying out.

It’s time to ditch the classic red and switch to tangy orange instead. It’s quirky, glamourous and oh-so-perfect for the summers. How to sport it like a diva, you ask? We say, team it with extra dewy skin, fluttery lashes and well, that’s it. Keep the rest of your makeup minimal and let your zesty pout do all the talking.

This isn’t a toughie. You probably already play with peachy or coral eyeshadow looks. However, while working with a bright or neon orange eyeshadow, make sure you don’t use too many colours in your makeup look. Simply go for an orange smokey eye and rock a nude pout with it. Also, skip the liner and go heavy on the lashes and highlighter for a high-on-glam look.
