If you’re feeling particularly experimental, we’ve a proposition for you - and it’s a pretty fun one. Apart from refining your overall makeup look, bring out that adventurous streak, and try perfecting your eye makeup with these no-effort hacks. And trust us when we say they work.
- 01. Use two mascaras
- 02. Apply nude or white eyeliner
- 03. Play with coloured eyeliner
- 04. Dab highlighter on brow bones
- 05. Prime your lids
01. Use two mascaras

Sounds a little unconventional, doesn’t it? It works! Apart from curling your lashes before any application of mascara, you can brush them with two different formulas: one for volumizing like the long-lasting, water-resistant Lakmé Eyeconic Volume Mascara, and the other for lengthening. Jiggle the thickening formula at the base for fuller-looking lashes, and stroke the rest of the length with the lengthening mascara.
02. Apply nude or white eyeliner

If you’ve not slept enough, and feel like your eye-bags are jeopardising your look, just run a nude or white eyeliner along your bottom waterline - and the inner-corners of your eyes - for an instant pop of brightness. Ensure you’re blending the white just a little to avoid looking chalky.
03. Play with coloured eyeliner

We’re always making a case for that dash of black on the lids, but it’s time to deviate from the familiar, and turn to coloured liners. If you’re looking to play your eyes up a bit, a punch of colour on the lids will do you justice. The Lakmé Insta Eyeliner - Blue is perfect to nail this look.
04. Dab highlighter on brow bones

All of us are looking to replicate the statement-making no makeup-makeup look. We’ll never tire of some light-reflecting shadow dancing on the eyes. Just add a pop of highlighter to the inner-corners of your eyes for an instant doe-eyed look, and dust some across your brow bones.
05. Prime your lids

Before you start sweeping strokes of eyeshadow across your lids, you must prime to them to set the base for your look. This gives you a blank canvas to work with, and conceals any veins or discolouration that are accentuated by makeup.
