Winged eye makeup looks have come a long way. What started off as winged eyeliner, escalated to double winged liner, coloured winged liner and now here we are – wings minus eyeliner. That’s right, the latest trend in the world of makeup is creating wings, not one but two, using eyeshadow instead!
Now, that’s the kind of challenge all you beauty buffs have been waiting for, right? Well, it’s not easy to create but does that stop us from trying it? Nope! Here’s a simplified version of this eye trend that you can master using just three products.
You will need:
- A kajal
- Eyeshadow palette
- Cleansing Wipes
How to create double-wing eyeshadow:
Step 01: You can choose any two shades to get this look, either from the same colour family or something strikingly different depending on how bold a look you want to create. Use a coloured eye pencil such as the Lakmé Eyeconic Kajal Royal Blue to create an outline for the first winged eyeshadow.
Step 02: Now, create another outline using a different colour such as the Lakmé Eyeconic Kajal Turquoise on top of the first one; be as precise as you can be
Step 03: Pick an eyeshadow colour similar to your kajal and use it to fill in your wings. You can easily find these shades in the Lakmé Absolute Infinity Eyeshadow Palette - Midnight Magic
Step 04: Your winged eyeshadow may not come out perfect the first time. Don’t worry, just take a gentle cleansing wipe such as Simple Kind To Skin Micellar Cleansing Wipes and carefully wipe to define the edges and to clean any mistakes.
