Trying a different eye makeup look is the easiest way to break out of your makeup rut. But let’s be honest, not all of us have the time and patience to whip out our eyeshadow palettes and blend together a multitude of colours to recreate a stunning eye makeup look.

But is that the only way to break the monotony? Of course, not! You can switch things up doing something as simple as changing the style of your eyeliner. To help you take your look from basic to wow, we’re going to teach you how to master the edgy smudged floating eyeliner tutorial in a few easy steps.

Step 01: Start with wiping your lid clean using the Pond’s Vitamin Micellar Water. This will help get rid of any residual oil, sweat or dirt and make your eye makeup products go on a lot smoother.

Step 02: Next, take a pea-sized amount of the Lakme Absolute Blur Perfect Makeup Primer and apply it all over your lids to prevent them from getting oily throughout the day.

Step 03: Take a little bit of the Lakme Absolute White Intense Liquid Concealer and blend it over your lids to cancel out discolouration, if any.

Step 04: Pick any eyeliner colour of your choice from the Lakmé Absolute Kohl Ultimate The Gelato Collection and apply it in along the crease. You can keep the liner as short or long as you want.

Step 05: Next, quickly take an eyeshadow blending brush and use it to lightly smudge the eyeliner. This will buff out the edges of the liner and give it a softer appearance.

Step 06: Using the Lakmé Eyeconic Liner Pen Fine Tip, create a thin, winged eyeliner as close to your lash line as possible to define your eyes.

Step 07: Finish this eye makeup look by applying two coats of the Lakme Absolute Flutter Secrets Volumizing Mascara to open up your eyes and make them appear fuller and longer.
