Coloured eyeliners are one of the most loved beauty products out there. Not only do they add definition and drama to your eye look, but some shades actually remove the need of wearing eyeshadow. How great is that? Plus, there are so many different looks you can create using them.
But did you know, certain eyeliner shades can enhance your makeup while others your flaws? For example, the classic black eyeliner is considered to be too dark for those with fair skin tone as it enhances the dark circles making you look dull and tired.
But DW, today we are going to help you choose the right coloured eyeliner for your skin tone.
Fair skin tone
Most people with fair skin tone have cool undertones, therefore, if you wish to play with fun coloured eyeliners, we suggest you choose brown, grey or green. These shades are warm yet don’t create a strong contrast against the skin the way a black eyeliner does.
Medium skin tone
Those with medium skin tones can safely use black eyeliner, but why would you when there are so many other shades you can wear? Shades like maroon and bronze perfectly compliment warm skin tone and make it look prettier.
Deep skin tone
Those with deep skin tones are the lucky ones who can pull off pretty much any colour! In fact, the brighter the colour, the more it pops. But you need to choose the colours carefully so it doesn’t look like an experiment gone wrong. Shimmery shades such as golden and silver look the best on this skin tone but you can also try blue and purple to alleviate your look.
