Step 01: The first step for creating any eye makeup look is to prep and prime your lids. Therefore, always start with applying a tiny bit of eye primer all over your eyelid. This will create a smooth, crease-free base for your shadows to go on.

Step 02: It is now time to define the crease. For this, you may have to layer a few shades of matte brown colours to achieve the right intensity and prevent the eyeshadow from falling flat. Start with taking the lightest shade of brown eyeshadow and apply it over your crease, from the inner corner to the outer corner. Blend it upwards, toward your brows to create a transition.

Step 03: Next, add a medium brown eyeshadow, only on the crease this time and then follow it up with the darkest shade of brown. This will add a lot of depth and dimension to your makeup. Ensure that you blend all the colours properly using a fluffy blending brush to prevent harsh lines.

Step 04: Take a little bit of any liquid concealer and apply it all over your lid, avoiding the crease. Extend this concealer slightly upwards from the outer corner of the eye to create a wing.

Step 05: Now is the time to customise the look according to your preference. You can go ahead and apply either a nude matte eyeshadow of your choice, or glam things up a bit by patting on something shimmery.

Step 06: To finish off this makeup look, create a thin winged eyeliner on your upper lid and coat your lashes in lots of mascara to open up your peepers.
