Well, turns out you’ve tried several mascaras out there, only to be disappointed the moment you look into the mirror. 01. Find the correct wand for your lashes
Believe it or not, there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to mascara wands. The kind of wand you should use depends on the shape of your eyes. If you have small eyes or monolids, then you would need to use a smaller wand if you want to properly coat all your lashes and give it the desired look.
02. Use the wiggling motion
If you tend to apply mascara in a zig-zag motion or simply coat them from root to tips, then your lashes will never appear fuller or longer. In order to achieve the long, fluttery and fanned-out lash effect, you need to apply mascara in a wiggling motion at the base of your lashes to separate them. Then, brush the underside of the lashes in smooth, upward strokes to lengthen them.
03. Use different mascara formulas
Most mascara formulas (and wands) only specialise at doing one thing. So if you expect a lengthening mascara to give you volume, then your expectation will never be fulfilled. Therefore, if you are looking for a more dramatic effect, we suggest you use different mascara to achieve the desired results. BB pro tip: Heat the curler with your hairdryer for a more defined curl. (Just make sure the curler isn’t too hot — slightly warm to the touch should do the trick).
