Green neon eyeliner is the all-new makeup trend we are loving

If there’s one look that screams risky, it has to be neon. Including neon colours in your makeup may be a little tricky. The fear of going OTT and looking a bit clownish keeps holding you back.

But, if there’s one beauty resolution we’d urge you to make this year, it’d be to break all your (beauty) inhibitions.

Begin the year on an ‘experimental’ note, girl! We suggest you start with the neon green eyeliner trend. You’ll never know how versatile it can look until you try. So, before you change your mind, here’s all the inspo you need to include neon green in your makeup.

Green and yellow hybrid

Wing it

What’s better than one neon colour on your eyes? Two colours: neon green and neon yellow. Take a neon yellow liner and start by lining from the inner corner of your eye till the middle of your lids. Draw a winged eyeliner with a neon green liner and you’re all set to make people stop and stare.

Floating

Wing it

Apart from experimenting with a bright neon colour, it’s time to play with eyeliner styles too. Think floating eyeliner using a neon green eye pencil. Sounds super chic, noh?

Swipe the eyeliner across your upper lid, close to your lash line. Then, draw an arc a little above your natural crease line. Join the two lines on the outer corner, and voila!

This graphic eyeliner style is the perfect example of small details making a big statement. You’ll be surprised to know that there’s a subtle way to use neon green in your makeup too. All you need to do is swipe the pencil across the inner corner of your upper lid, middle of the lower lid and on the outer corner, above your crease.

Vibrant makeup goals

Wing it

If you’re taking neon eyeliner to the streets, then we suggest you go all out and create a bold look. Use not one or two but a mix of three neon colours—green, yellow and orange. You’ll be left with a splash of colours on your eyes and it’s totally fine. Going quirky on some days can help you break away from the monotony!

Here’s a super simple, yet striking way to use neon green in your makeup. Using a neon green eyeliner, create even wings. Then, swipe the same liner on the inner corner of your lower lid and amp it up with some highlighter.
