Playing with colours when it comes to eye makeup is super fun. But that fun quickly turns into a struggle when the colours in the pan don’t show up as pigmented on the eyes. Do you feel me? But guess what? I’ve got a super trick that will make your eyeshadow more look pigmented in an instant. Wanna know what is it? Scroll below to find out…

Step 01: Eye primer

Step 01: Eye primer - Make your eyeshadow look more pigmented

Invest in as eye primer if you haven’t already! This is probably the easiest way to make your pigment pop. Take a dime-sized amount of primer on your fingertip and dab it all over your eyelid going up all the way up to your brow. This gives the eyeshadow a base to stick to and stay put for a long time.

Step 02: Spritz setting spray on your brush

First things first: stop using your fingertips to apply eyeshadow. The heat and oil from your hands will melt away your eyeshadow before it even reaches your eyelid. Use an eyeshadow brush, spritz some makeup setting spray on the brush, then pick the product from the palette and apply on your eyelid.

Step 03: Press don’t swipe

Lastly, you may have seen all your favourite bloggers swiping the brush across their eyelids, don’t do that. Pick the pigment and pack the colour on, once you see the desired pigment, lightly blend the corners to give it shape.
