Want to wear that ultra-bold lipstick on a regular day at work? Do it! Feel like going au natural to a glamorous party? Do it! Want to dress down for a date night? Do it! Feel like dressing up on a maddening Monday? Go ahead. You have the freedom to do what you want and be who you want to be.
While different people define freedom differently, we got our B-town beauties to tell us what freedom feels like to them. On day 4 at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter Festive 2019, here’s what we found out
Athiya Shetty

Athiya Shetty’s fun-loving and I-don’t-give-a-damn persona is pretty evident from her Instagram account. The actress is often seen goofing around with her B-town buddies and is constantly giving us a peek into her personal life through her pictures. So, when asked about what freedom meant to her, Athiya said, “Freedom for me is being able to not care about what others think of you, and not constantly seek approval from society and everybody else.”
Aahana Kumra

While Aahana Kumra has proved her acting prowess with movies like Lipstick Under My Burkha and The Accidental Prime Minister, she is also the one to look out for, for beauty inspiration. So, what does freedom feel like to Aahana? She says, “I am somebody who is very opinionated and I like to talk to people who have opinions. So, I think freedom to me is to be able to have an opinion without being judged.”
Malavika Mohanan

While Malavika Mohanan has been a part of the Malayalam film industry since 2013, she made her Bollywood debut only last year with Beyond The Clouds. The actress, who was once a fashion blogger, has come a long way. So, what does freedom feel like to Malavika? The actress says, “Freedom to me is being able to just be, doing whatever I want to do, wearing whatever I want to wear, saying whatever I want to say as long as I’m not hurting anybody or being impolite or rude.”
Esha Gupta

Be it her onscreen roles or her stint with fashion and beauty, Esha Gupta is never one to shy away from being her bold self. From pulling off the wackiest of looks with confidence to putting trollers in their place, Esha is all about self-love. Freedom for the actress is, “Freedom means doing whatever makes you happy and doing better for the world, without being bothered about what the trollers are going to say.”
Mrunal Thakur

TV actress Mrunal Thakur rose to fame with her recent big screen release Super 30 with superstar Hrithik Roshan, and since then, the actress has been the talk of the town. The diva is always seen putting her glamorous face forward and we definitely can’t wait to see more of her on the silver screen. When asked about what freedom feels like, Mrunal says, “Freedom for me is talking about the issues you’re dealing with, however small they are. Being vocal about your own feelings is what freedom feels like.”
