STEP 01: Draw an ‘X’
Apply some lip balm on your lips and dab off the excess using a tissue or cotton pad. Start by drawing an ‘X’ on your cupid’s bow. Remember to start the ‘X’ from the highest point of your lips and then bring it all the way down to the end of your upper lip
Step 02: Define the bottom lip
The centre of your bottom lip is directly below the X you just created. Make a short line across this centre to help define your bottom lip. Don’t extend this line all the way out just yet. This is what will give your lips some evenness
Step 03: Define the outer edges
Now, slightly part your lips and at the corners of your mouth draw a sideways ‘V’ to properly connect your top and bottom lip. Do not pass your lipstick beyond this ‘V’
Step 04: Connect the lines
Connect everything you’ve drawn from steps one through three using short strokes. Fill in the gaps before you move onto the next step
Step 05: Swipe on some lipstick
Complete this process by applying a swipe of lipstick or lip gloss. This will instantly transform your lips and make them look perfect.
