The season has come for your feet to emerge from their hibernation in sneakers and closed shoe and don sandals and flip-flops. If you are hesitating to slip your feet into open-toed shoes because you have missed your pedicure a few too many times, here is how to fake a pedicure!
Soak your feet in warm water and gently scrub with a pumice stone. This will exfoliate dry skin on top and reveal softer skin beneath.
Any oil – olive, coconut, argan, jojoba – just any oil will make your feet look soft and hide any dry patches and cracks. Applying the oil after a warm water soak will help the oil absorb better.
Use a body luminiser or body highlighter to give a glowy look to your feet. Body highlighters hide rough patches and give the illusion of healthy feet.
Use bright nail paints as they hide cuticles and un-buffed nails better. Also, they draw the attention away from any un-groomed areas on your feet.
