Ruby ready at Ritu Kumar

Ruby ready at Ritu Kumar

While the designer gave her casual collection a military chic upgrade at Lakmé Fashion Week, she also reinvented the classic red lip.

Get the look by using the Lakmé Absolute Perfect Radiance Skin Lightening Serum to polish away any dullness from your face. For the next step of your base, apply Lakmé Absolute Mattreal Skin Natural Mousse for medium coverage. Dip a fluffy angled brush into darker shade of the Lakmé Absolute Sun-Kissed Bronzer and blend it into the hollows of your cheeks and temples.

The first step for the eyes is to fill in your brows using the Lakmé Eyebrow Pencil. Then, apply small strokes of the Lakmé Eyeconic Kajal in White over the centre of the lid and inner corner of the bottom and top eye lid. Blend it well to highlight your eye area. Apply a thin stroke of the Lakmé Eyeconic Kajal in Black close to the upper lash line to create an impression of fuller lashes. Repeat this for the bottom lash line too.

Finally, for the statement-making glitter red lip, apply the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Lip Shimmer in Ruby Glimmer on your lips.

Plum surprise at Divya Sheth

Plum surprise at Divya Sheth

Didn’t we tell you the coloured eye trend was going to strike gold this season? Divya’s plum-toned eye makeup look at Lakmé Fashion Week proved just that!

To try this at home start with the Lakmé Absolute Skin Gloss Gel Crème whose mineral-laden glacial water will hydrate your skin. Follow this up with Lakmé Absolute Mattreal Skin Natural Mousse for breathable, light coverage. Then dust the gold shade of the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Pink Shimmer Brick over the bridge of your nose and cupid’s bow. Proceed to apply the pink shade from the shimmer brick on the highest point of your cheekbones and blend it into your skin.

For the eyes, apply the Lakmé Absolute Blur Perfect Makeup Primer over your eyelid and crease to keep your makeup intact. Define and fill in your brows with the Lakmé Eyebrow Pencil. Then apply the plum shade from the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Royal Persia Eye Shadow Palette at the outer end of your lid and extend it to where your brows end. Use a narrow angled brush to apply the same shade to the bottom lash line. Apply the gold shade over the centre of the lid and inner corner. Blend the shades for a seamless look.

For the creamy mauve lip to tie the look together, use the Lakmé Absolute Argan Oil Lip Color in Soft Mauve.

Glitzy glamour at Falguni Shane Peacock

As a luxurious curtain closer for Day 3 of Lakmé Fashion Week, Falguni and Shane put on a spectacular show with makeup that was made to match.

If you wish to give this a shot, start by moisturising your face with the Lakmé Absolute Perfect Radiance Skin Lightening Day Crème. Next, use the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Foundation for high coverage with radiance. Contour your face by applying the darker shade of Lakmé Absolute Sun-Kissed Bronzer in the hollows of your cheeks, your temples and your jawline.

For the eyes, apply the light brown shade from the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Gold Eye Shadow Palette over the lid. Then dab the gold shade onto the centre of the lid as well as the inner corners of your top and bottom eye lid. Apply the dark brown shade in the crease and extend it slightly while blending it into the other colours. Finish your eye makeup look by sweeping the Lakmé Absolute Flutter Secrets Dramatic Eyes Mascara over your lashes.

For the glossy wine pout, apply the Lakmé Absolute Gloss Stylist in Plum Pout on your lips.
