Woodland nymph at Anushree Reddy
To complement Anushree’s delightful collection at Lakmé Fashion Week, she chose a playful makeup look.
To try this on your own, start by dotting your skin with the Lakmé Absolute Perfect Radiance Skin Lightening Serum and massaging it into your skin for a polished, bright base. Next, apply the Lakmé Absolute White Intense Skin Cover Foundation over your face and blend it in for high coverage. Then use a fluffy brush to apply the bronze shade of the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Pink Shimmer Brick over the apples of your cheeks and blend it towards the hollows.
For the eye makeup look from Anushree’s runway, apply the light brown shade from the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Gold Eye Shadow Palette on the outer end of your eye and at the crease. In the inner area of the lid, apply the gold shade from the same palette. Apply the bronze from the shimmer brick to the area above the crease and blend all the colours together. Use the Lakmé Absolute Precision Liquid Liner to draw a thin line until the end of the eye and then flick it upwards to create a winged liner style.
For the pink pout, generously apply the Lakmé Absolute Sculpt Hi-Definition Matte Lipstick in Pink Caress on your lips.
Deep smoke at Gaurang
A super intense face was the best way to do justice to Gaurang’s all-white traditional collection at Lakmé Fashion Week.
If you want to try this look for the summer, start by prepping your face with the Lakmé Absolute Skin Gloss Reflection Serum. Its mineral-rich formula will hydrate your skin and make it look taut and healthy. Next, blend the Lakmé Absolute Mattreal Skin Natural Mousse Foundation into your skin for a light, natural finish. Then, use a narrow fluffy brush to dust and blend the lighter shade of the Lakmé Absolute Moon-Lit Highlighter over the bridge of your nose, cupid’s bow, brow area and centre of your forehead.
To get the eye makeup look to the tee, start by filling in your brows with the Lakmé Eyebrow Pencil. Next, line the upper lash line and lower water line with the Lakmé Eyeconic Kajal in Black. Then choose the dark grey shade from the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Silver Eye Shadow Palette and apply it from the inner crease until the inner corner of the eye. Blend it well. Then run the same shade over the bottom lash line too. Seal your eye makeup look with oodles of drama on your lashes courtesy the Lakmé Eyeconic Curling Mascara.
Get that creamy, tangerine toned lip with the Lakmé Absolute Crème Lip Pout in Orange Tease.
Highlighted perfection on Kareena Kapoor Khan at Anita Dongre
Proving yet again that she’s ravishing beyond belief, Kareena Kapoor Khan played the showstopper for Anita Dongre’s Grand Finale show at Lakmé Fashion Week. Her makeup, done by none other than Donald Simrock, was subdued but radiant!
Here’s how to get Kareena Kapoor Khan’s look.
Start by giving your skin a major dose of hydration with the Lakmé Absolute Skin Gloss Gel Crème. Follow this up with the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Foundation that’ll give you coverage with just the right amount of sheen. For Kareena’s glowing cheeks, dip a fluffy brush in the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Coral Shimmer Brick and apply it to the centre of your cheek, while blending it outwards towards the ears.
For the eyes, apply the light brown shade from the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Gold Eye Shadow Palette from the outer corner of your eye to just above the crease.
From the centre of the lid till the inner corner, apply the gold shade from the same palette. Blend both the shades together.
Then line your upper and lower lash line with the Lakmé Absolute Shine Line Eyeliner in Liquid Gold. Line both, the upper and lower water line with the Lakmé Eyeconic Kajal in Black and sweep your lashes with the Lakmé Eyeconic Curling Mascara.
Over your lips, apply the Lakmé Absolute Argan Oil Lip Color in Buttery Caramel to get a gorgeously creamy pout.
