Whether it is a glamourous party that you are attending or a sit down dinner with your pals, a smokey eye is the only way to shine. The eye makeup look has surpassed trends and gone on to become a staple that we like to have handy. If you too want to get the classic black smokey eye makeup, just follow these simple steps.
Step 1
Begin by taking the Lakmé Absolute Precision Eye Artist Kajal in Black and drawing thick strokes with it all over your eyelid. Then use a smudge brush to blend the kajal on the lid before it sets, as a base for the dark makeup to come.
Step 2
Use a narrow application brush and dip it into the brown shade from the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Eyeshadow Palette. Apply this shade into the crease and blend until it has merged.
Step 3
Then dip the brush in the black shade from the same palette and pat it all over the lid on the black base.
Step 4
Dip a thin brush into the gold shade and apply it near your tear ducts in your inner corner as well as under your brow bone.
Step 5
Use a fresh blending brush to first blend together the gold and brown shade and then the black and brown shades for a seamless finish.
Step 6
Once the eyeshadow is complete, apply a dark line on your upper eyelid using the Lakmé Absolute Precision Eye Artist Kajal in Black. Use the same kajal to tight line your eye as well as line your lower waterline and lash line. Bring the line upwards in order for it to meet the line on top and create a wing.
