Prep
If you notice closely, Nargis is flaunting hydrated skin—dewy and blemish free. You need to keep in mind what all makeup experts believe—good makeup only comes with an effective skin care prep session. One of the best ways to keep your skin supple and moisturised is by applying the Lakmé Absolute Argan Oil Radiance Oil-in-Crème that’s non-greasy on the skin yet rejuvenates it beautifully. The added bonus? It contains SPF 30 PA++!
Base
Once you’re done prepping your skin, apply a pea-sized amount of primer to your skin and then go in with a medium coverage foundation that hydrates your skin as well as covers your imperfections. To get Nargis’ look from this show at Lakmé Fashion Week, we suggest relying on the Lakmé Absolute Argan Oil Serum Foundation that provides the nourishment of a serum and the coverage of a foundation. Plus, because of its silky texture, it glides on beautifully on the skin. Make sure you set the foundation using a compact that goes with your skin tone.
Eyebrows
While Nargis doesn’t have power brows, she’s gone in with a brow pencil to fill her eyebrows in for Anushree’s look at Lakmé Fashion Week. To get this look, you need to use the Lakmé Eyebrow Pencil and then go over the brows with a spoolie to even out the strokes.
Eyes
One of the biggest reasons for us wanting to try this look from Lakmé fashion Week was the powerful eye makeup. There’s blue, purple, gold and black on the eyes—colours that looked striking with her ensemble. To get her eye makeup look from this show at Lakmé Fashion Week, first use the gold eyeshadow from the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette, Gold and apply it all over your lids including the crease area. Next, use the Lakmé Absolute Precision Eye Artist Liner, Blue Sapphire on your lower lashline. Smudge it out just a wee bit to take the drama to the next level. Now, use the bluish-purple shade from the Lakmé 9to5 Eye Quartet, Tanjore Rush in the inner corners and add just a bit on your lids. For the third colour, go for black—rely on the Lakmé Absolute Gloss Artist Eye Liner, Black and create a medium sized wing. Once it’s dried up, use the Lakmé Absolute Kohl Ultimate Kajal to darken the black. Finally, use the Lakmé Eyeconic Curling Mascara on your lashes to get Nargis’ fluttery lashes.
Cheeks
Nargis has a hint of glitter and pink on her cheeks. To get this look from Lakmé Fashion Week, use the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Shimmer Brick, Pink on your cheeks and blend well using a fluffy brush.
Lips
Nargis’ lips are painted in a beautifully pink shade—it’s not too overpowering yet looks hydrated. To get a pink pout like hers, rely on the Lakmé Absolute Luxe Matte Lip Color With Argan Oil in Freshly Pinked. While the argan oil in it will moisturise your puckers, the finish will be matte—just the way a lipstick should be!
