Shilpa Shetty Birthday Special: The Secrets To Her Age-defying Look

Shilpa Shetty is living proof that age is, in fact, just a number! I mean, look at her... It’s been 27 years since she made her Bollywood debut and she hasn’t aged a bit. Her fitness levels and jaw-dropping beauty can give 20-year-olds serious complex. So, on her 45 birthday today (I know, she doesn’t look a day over 30), we’re spilling the secrets to her clear and glowing skin. Take note, ladies!
Shilpa Shetty begins her day with a glass and half of lukewarm water early in the morning. Then she consumes four drops of Noni juice; it has antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, antitumor, analgesic, hypotensive, anti-inflammatory, and immune-enhancing effects. It also acts as an energy booster and keeps her active throughout the day. She also drinks 10 glasses of water to keep her skin clear and hydrated.
She never goes to bed with makeup on
One of the secrets to Shilpa’s flawless and glowing skin is that she cleanses her face thoroughly and gets rid of every trace of makeup before going to bed. To remove her makeup, she uses a mix of pure coconut oil with olive oil or baby oil and applies it all over her face. Once the makeup melts, she wipes it’s off with cotton wool.
She never steps out without SPF
The actress wears sunscreen like her life depends on it; she never steps out of the house without a generous layer of sunscreen on her face and body. A good quality sunscreen that protects the skin from both UVA and UVB rays is essential to keep the harsh UV rays at bay and protect the skin from ageing prematurely.
She follows a simple skincare routine
Instead of using too many skincare products, Shilpa tries to keep her skin healthy by relying on a few good products and avoids swapping them too often. She’s strictly against using soap on the face as it contains harsh ingredients that can damage the top layer of the skin.
She does yoga
This one’s not so much of a secret. We all know that Shilpa is a yoga and fitness enthusiast. Her Instagram profile is full of pictures and videos that display her immense love for yoga. Doing yoga regularly improves skin texture and quality by promoting blood circulation in the face. It can keep common skin problems like acne, wrinkles and dullness at bay.
