Coconut oil is a wonderful natural moisturiser and lubricant. It contains healthy fatty acids that provide the lips with essential moisture and keep them soft and supple. You can add a hint of essential grapeseed oil as it will help heal your lips faster.

Rose petals have skin nourishing nutrients like Vitamin E. Here’s what you can do. Crush some rose petals together and add some milk. The essential fats in the milk will keep your lips hydrated. Apply this on your lips for about 20 minutes and rinse off with cold water.

Lemon juice

Lemon is a skin bleaching agent that help fade away the darkness, dark spots and tanning of your lips. Simply take the lemon juice on your finger and massage it for 3 minutes. Leave it over-night, do this daily for good results. You can also add some brown sugar and rub it for 2 minutes, this removes the dead cells and thus the lips get brighter.

Beetroot is a nice way of giving your lips some instant colour. Beet also works as a great natural moisturiser. Apply this just before sleeping and massage it for a minute or two. Do this daily and in 2-3 weeks, you’ll see a difference.

Mix some with carrot juice, beetroot juice and pomegranate in equal amounts and apply it on your lips. Over time, this will remove the dark spots and pigmentation from your lips. You can also crush the pomegranate along with the seeds and use it as a lip scrub.
