Rich in antioxidants and antiseptic properties, rosemary effectively eliminates germs and fights acne causing bacteria. Boil ¾ cup water then add 1 fresh rosemary sprig to it. Once the water cools down transfer it to a spray bottle and add 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. Spray the mixture every day onto cleansed skin. This calms inflammation and reduces blemishes with regular use.
Rosemary hair oil
Rosemary is used in hair care products to boost hair growth and fight dandruff. Combine half cup dried rosemary leaves and half cup oil in a saucepan and let it simmer for a few minutes on medium heat. Allow the oil to cool down for about 20 minutes and strain the leaves from the oil. Massage your scalp with this root strengthening concoction before you wash your hair. Allow the oil to stay for at least 30 minutes to show results.
Summer can be pretty harsh for all parts of your body, including your feet which can get sweaty and emit odour. This easy rosemary foot scrub can curb odour causing bacteria giving you smooth, soft and fresh smelling feet. To make the scrub mix some brown sugar, salt, olive oil and 5-10 drops of rosemary essential oil (easily available in the market). Transfer the mixture to an air-tight jar and store it in your bathroom to scrub your feet after a long tiring day.
