This one is no surprise. Every mom keeps on telling us how having a well-balanced diet is essential for healthy and glowing skin. And of course it is true! A diet that consists of fruits, vegetables, proteins and whole grains can be a good balance of nutrients which in turn will make your skin look flawless. Staying hydrated with water and vegetable juices is also advisable.
Sleeping on time
We never take our mom seriously when she tells us to sleep early. But guess what, she knows that getting at least 7-8 hours of sleep a night is essential for good health and skin. Under eye puffiness and dark circles are all caused due to lack of sleep. So ladies, sleep enough to get firm, fresh and supple skin!
Excessive use of your phone
If you can’t relate to this, you’re probably living under a rock! Constantly talking on the phone can lead to a sedentary lifestyle. Rather than sitting on the couch and chatting away with your friend, head to the gym and sweat it out. The release of toxins and rush of blood through your body will give you a natural blush and glowing skin. Totally got to listen to mommy on this one!
Keep your hands away from your face
Constantly picking and squeezing your pimples and blackheads will leave ugly scars and marks on your face. These marks are quite stubborn and won’t lighten easily. So next time you mommy reminds you to leave your skin alone, listen to her and keep your hands far from your face.
