We already gave you an extensive CTM guide for dry skin and now, it’s time for those of you with oily skin to get some help. As girls with oily skin, you know that cleansing for oily skin is of utmost importance but you often take the toning and moisturising bit for granted. But did you know that a toner has the power to heal clogged pores? You might assume that since you have oily skin, you can deny your skin hydration by skipping a moisturiser but this could be one of the biggest skin care blunders you are making. Confused? Here’s why you need to follow this CTM guide if you have oily skin...
Oily skin often suffers from acne, blackheads, etc. In order to get rid of the bacteria and grime on your skin, you need a face wash that goes deep into your skin and cleanses it thoroughly. We’ve been using the Pond’s Pure White Deep Cleansing Facial Foam that can free the skin of deep-seated impurities. It also removes leftover makeup and sucks in the extra oil from the skin!
For toning...
Cleansing often leaves your skin with open pores. This is when you need to tighten them by way of a toner. If you’ve always wished that your gigantic pores would shrink, rely on the Lakmé Absolute Pore Fix Toner because this one has a light texture so it doesn’t make the skin look greasy. It also frees the skin of bacteria and leaves it hydrated.
For moisturising...
If you think that oily skin doesn’t need moisturising, you are doing some serious harm to your skin. When you skip the moisturiser, your sebaceous glands begin producing more sebum to compensate thereby making your skin further oily. This why you need a non-greasy and mild moisturiser for your face.
