Oily skin is naturally prone to acne and other obdurate skin problems. And once begun, these skin problems seem to never go away. Just a few hours outdoors and all the makeup you’ve applied comes running down, due to the sweat and excess oil produced by your skin. The only solution is to treat the problem right from the core. Reducing excess oil and sebum production will eventually help you get rid of oily skin, and we know of a few home remedies for oily skin that can help you do so.
Avocado and Rosewater

Applying avocado leaves your skin feeling clean and refreshed, but never greasy. It’s just about everything you could have ever asked for, if you have oily skin. Make a paste of avocado and add a few drops of rose water to it. Apply the mixture over your T-zone and other oil-prone zones of the face. This mixture locks the moisture into the skin while cleaning out the impurities. Your skin is left feeling soft and hydrated, as against slick and sticky before. Antioxidant and omega-rich, avocado protects the skin against free radicals, and has anti-ageing properties. It also provides protection against environmental irritants and helps improve the skin's appearance. Rose water evens the tone of your skin and improves its elasticity.
Rice flour and Eggs

Rice flour and eggs are an excellent combination, if you wish to cleanse and remove the oil from your skin. Mix rice flour and one egg in a bowl, and apply the mixture all over your face. It acts as cleansing foam and washes away all the excess oil. It nourishes your skin with vitamins and amino acids, and brightens your skin tone. It also gives the skin a soft, creamy texture that leaves your face feeling clean and fresh. The egg helps to control sebum production and to minimize pore size. The egg white acts as an absorbent and cleanses the skin, giving you a silky smooth and well moisturized look.
Aloe Vera and Almond oil

Hydrating your skin is essential, even for those with oily skin. Without moisture, your sebaceous glands actually produce more oil to compensate for the lack of moisture. This further aggravates the production of sebum, leading to the clogging of pores and breakouts. Aloe vera soothes the skin and provides a ton of essential vitamins. Almond oil helps to even the skin tone and leaves your face feeling super fresh. The mixture of aloe vera and almond oil is very gentle on your skin as well, and leaves it feeling soft, smooth, and clean. It provides antioxidants to heal and to help rejuvenate your skin. The oleic acid in almond oil helps to brighten your skin tone. Nor does the paste leave your skin feeling extra greasy. If you have oily as well as sensitive skin, this mask should be ideal for you. It treats congested, oily skin by using antioxidants to remove the excess oil.
